To ensure that Seltos customers have a wide range of color options, Kia has added more colors to the base HTE variant and made similar changes to other variants. The Seltos base HTE variant is now available starting at Rs 10.90 lakh.
Previously, the Seltos base HTE variant only came in two colors: Sparkling Silver and Clear White. This limited choice may have led some buyers to opt for higher variants or even consider rival brands. For instance, the Hyundai Creta base variant offers five color options, including Abyss Black Pearl, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, and Robust Emerald Pearl. Similarly, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara base Sigma variant comes in four colors.

The decision to add more colors to the Seltos base variant likely comes from market feedback. The Seltos HTE variant now offers seven color options. Alongside Sparkling Silver and Clear White, the new colors are Imperial Blue, Pewter Olive, Intense Red, Gravity Grey, and Aurora Black Pearl. Kia aims to provide the best value for its customers, and expanding the color options for the base variant enhances its competitiveness.

For the Seltos HTK and HTK+ variants, there were previously six color options available. Now, the Aurora Black Pearl color has been added to these variants. Additionally, the HTX+ variant no longer offers dual-tone color options and is available only in monotone shades. Customers seeking dual-tone colors will need to upgrade to the Seltos GT Line variants.
