Maruti Opens 5,000th Service Center – Serviced more than 2.5 crore Cars Last Year

    Maruti Suzuki India Limited has expanded its service network to 5,000 locations across the country. The latest center, opened in Gurugram, Haryana, was inaugurated by Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, the Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki. This expansion aims to provide better customer service and enhance customer satisfaction.

    This is a significant achievement for Maruti Suzuki’s service network. The company now has 5,000 service centers in 2,500 cities in India, starting from the first workshop in 1983.

    From 1983 to 1997, Maruti Suzuki established 1,000 service centers. This number doubled to 2,000 in the following 9 years. The company has rapidly grown, reaching 5,000 service centers, with 1,000 of these added in the last 3 years alone.

    In FY 2023-24 alone, 2.5 Crore Cars Serviced

    Maruti Suzuki’s dedication to providing customer service is evident as the company serviced 2.5 crore cars in the 2023-24 financial year through its extensive service network. Finding a Maruti service center is easy, with locations strategically placed both within cities and in remote areas.

    In the 2023-24 financial year, Maruti Suzuki added 400 service centers, the most ever added in a single year. As India’s top-selling automaker, Maruti Suzuki has also introduced several industry-first service formats for its customers. The company offers mobile support, bringing service directly to customers’ doorsteps. A quick response team provides emergency roadside assistance. Innovations like multi-language voice BOTs, digital job card facilities, and digital owner’s manuals have significantly improved the customer experience.
